DARK VICTORY PLANS
A: The warship's shields prevent tractor beams from locking on.
B: The cloaking device is Romulan in origin. It was salvaged from a Romulan Warbird during a failed attempt by the Tal Shiar and the Obsidian Order to invade the Founder's homeworld.
C: The weapons are located at the front of the ship. The Dark Victory has no rear weapons array. This reflects her original purpose as an offensive rather than defensive vessel, as well as her former owner's propensity for suicide runs rather than retreat.
D: The warp nacelles are positioned away from the main body of the ship. This is a feature the warship shares with many Federation craft.
E: When the Dark Victory was in the service of the Dominion, her crew complement was 42. This is quite large for such a small ship, and very little space was given over to storage and accomodation. Since being appropriated by Starfleet, several modifications have been made to the interior of the ship to cater both for the practical requirments of missions (labs, equipment storage, etc), as well as the comfort of the crew.
